I think a diet may be in order! Got slightly stuck in a chimney today.

Winter Holiday

I'm off for a week of winter climbing in the Highlands starting in the Cairngorms and ending up on Ben Nevis.  If u need a minister contact Alison. I'll be back in a week or so, hopefully tanned and fit. (More likely weatherbeaten and knackered!) Cheers!

Messy Church

Messy Church was quite messy this time, lots of paint everywhere & ice-cream in a bag.

Called to follow.

Followers who were fishermen,
disciples who were just teenagers,
apostles who were arguing,
friends who misunderstood,

missionaries who were children,
witnesses who were foreigners,
believers who were doubters.
You found them on beaches,
on roadways,
up trees,
in houses,
by lakesides,
with the Romans,
in the wilderness.
But each held something
you needed for the reign of God:
a hope,
a passion,
a longing,
a voice,
an anger,
a kindness.
You have found us, O Jesus,
and called our names.
We are your latest followers
 willing,questioning,                                                      
enthusiastic,
concerned,
trusting,
worrying.
Make us your own.
So be it.

Blowing away the cobwebs

Had a couple of days of real winter in the Cairngorms!
